Neiguan PC6 location and gentle pressure

Neiguan is on the inner wrist and is often discussed for nausea or stomach discomfort. This page does not present it as a primary migraine pain point.

Standard location

On the anterior forearm, between the palmaris longus and flexor carpi radialis tendons, about three finger-widths above the wrist crease.

Easy way to find it

  1. Turn the palm upward.
  2. Place three fingers across the wrist crease.
  3. Find the point between the two central tendons on the inner forearm.

How to press

  1. Use the thumb to press gently between the tendons.
  2. Hold for 30 seconds to 2 minutes.
  3. Keep the wrist relaxed and avoid numbness or tingling.

When to avoid or stop

  • Do not press over injury, swelling, or severe wrist pain.
  • Stop if tingling, numbness, or nausea worsens.
